Sharp, boxed hedges — big or small.
Commercial-grade equipment & all waste removed
Matt has gained real expertise cutting hedges over the past few years, and many happy clients around the Kapiti Coast would agree with his skill. He uses string lines to mark the cut line, and has an array of pole-saw hedge trimmer attachments, battery-operated hedge trimmers, Husqvarna chainsaws, a trailer and the necessary help to cut the waste away — making hedges super straight and super square.
Trailer and ladders for reaching tall hedges, plus both battery-operated and full commercial power hedge trimmers.
Neat, even, professional finishes that keep your garden looking its best.
All hedge trimmings are cleared away as part of the job — nothing left behind.
Hedge trimming is charged at an hourly rate — no fixed quotes are provided, and the hourly rate is charged regardless of the size of the job. Matt is a perfectionist and works super fast, so there's no concern about anyone being taken advantage of.
$75/hr + GST for Matt, and $35/hr + GST for Jesse, his helper. Two people are usually required given the amount of debris — which needs to be raked up, put into fadge bags (bulk bags), loaded onto the trailer and transported to the green waste. By having a helper, Matt reduces the cost to the client.
Annual and regular maintenance of an already-trimmed hedge isn't really Matt's forte. But once the hard graft is done and the hedge is down to a level acceptable to the client, it can easily be maintained by the homeowner with less powerful tools.
